BSpam is a Client / Server
product for Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook,
which integrates directly into your mail client and does
not require a separate start.
BSpam uses a unique technology. Users report spam mails
and once an e-mail is reported as spam, it produces a
signature, which is stored in the BSpam database. BSpam uses a unique SpamRank TM system to actually classify an email as spam which is based on spam votes received from multiple users for a particular email. This
is based on a technology developed for a leading online
storage service "IBackup" (http://www.ibackup.com).
Every mail received, sends its unique signature to BSpam
server. If the signature of the incoming mail matches
with any of the spam signatures present in BSpam database,
then the mail is moved to the 'Spam' Folder.
BSpam does not store the actual contents of your mail
ensuring Complete Privacy and Protection of your
data.
BSpam becomes more and more accurate with the increase
in spam reports. When a user reports spam using the SpamRank
TM system and it is stored in the database,
other users automatically get benefited. With this technology,
any type of spam will be controlled in minutes.
